IF OIL PRICES ARE AT $67 A BARREL, WHY IS GAS STILL ABOVE $3?

Crude oil is trading around $67 a barrel now so why are we still

paying over $3 a gallon at the pump. It doesnt make sense!!!!!!!!

IF OIL PRICES ARE AT $67 A BARREL, WHY IS GAS STILL ABOVE $3?
Gas prices are higher than one might expect them to be, but that will change. The reason gas is so high right now is because it takes a few weeks for the cheap oil to be bought and shipped to refineries, it then takes a few more weeks for the oil to be refined to gas, it then takes a few weeks for the gas to reach your gas station. It is not pleasant having to wait, but prices at the pump should start and continue to drop for the next month or two.

Unfortunately, OPEC, which controls most of the world's oil just decided to decrease production by 1.5 million barrels a day. That will decrease supply and cause prices to eventually go back up.

I hope that helps. Go to Truly Newsworthy (http://www.TrulyNewsworthy.com) for great information about this subject and other U.S. and international news. I strongly recommend it.IF OIL PRICES ARE AT $67 A BARREL, WHY IS GAS STILL ABOVE $3?
Because they are gouging us....

Now will everyone finally admit that offshore drilling is just a gimmick...

Oil=low

gas=high, because they can
Wait and see what they are next Wednesday. Gas prices change on Wednesdays. I'm wondering when food prices are going to reflect the lower fuel cost.

PS - Hold the line and keep conserving - for spite!
Huh? It's called PRICE FIXING ! Of course, our congress has ruled there is none-thanks to the oil industry being the largest campaign contributors. Remember, Big Brother always watches out for us.
Gas prices in Colorado are less than $2.50 per gallon at the pump. I think it's pretty close to $2.15. It depends on where you live.
You're expecting oil companies to pass the savings down to you? Last I checked, hell hasn't frozen over yet.
2.34 in ohio
It might depend where you live at. Here in Houston we are paying $2.39 for regular.
George, are you from Chicago? The highest gas taxes in the country helps keep the price of gas up in Chicago.
It's below $2.50 in Missouri.
Because people will pay that much and be very very happy it is not $4. That makes perfect sense.
because people keep buying it

stop buying or stop crying
Its not in GA.
everybody needs to make there million
