Our president is in Saudi Arabia he almost begged king abdullah to raise more oil production so prices in USA?

can be down but remember these r same saudis where most

of the hijackers in 911 were funded and came from.

Guess what saudis says not enough demand for oil to raise the oil production then why the hell crude oil barell is $127.today.

Please your thoughts and comments. Our president is in Saudi Arabia he almost begged king abdullah to raise more oil production so prices in USA?
Perhaps, if our House and Senate members would allow us to follow our President’s suggestion of drilling in the huge ANWR (Artic Wildlife National Refuge), allow competing small companies to produce their alternative energy sources, allow alternative fuels to go mainstream, build new oil refineries, and start using safe inexpensive renewable energies like nuclear power (again), and stop taking all the huge kick backs from the Oil Corporations, we could stop our dependence upon foreign oil.

Saudi Arabia is NOT our friends. I have been to that country. I have seen with my own eyes how they treat women, foreigners, and other outsiders. Try carrying a bible (if you are of that religion) through Saudi customs in Ar Riyad or Ad Dammam. I know their royal political system and I know HOW the country came to be, how the Saud family violently took power. I would strongly encourage anyone to do their own research on this. Do not take MY word for it, read up on it and educate yourself to its inherent evils.

I have already fought in a war over there. (and pray to whatever powers may exist that my son will not have to when he grows up.) I am a life long student of history and strongly wish that we do not allow this country or any of its fellow Muslim Fundamentalist ( see “Islamo-fascist” ) lead nations have such a strangle hold over us and ever hold us hostage over any energy source again.

The price of gas is based on GREED, not need. It’s as simple as that. If you follow the Royal Stipend system of the Saud family, you will see why they are upping the price.

This is not the first time George %26amp; others of the Bush family have been on their knees to the Saudis.

What else are we to expect from one who continues to read about a pet goat while the Trade Centers and the Pentagon are ruthlessly bombed by a cabal of primarily Saudi citizens.

The lives of Americans are insignificant to GWB, so why should the wallets of Americans matter?
I just don't get this question. The US gets its oil from places like Canada and Mexico and Venezuela. Gas is incredibly cheap in America compared to what people in Europe have always paid for it, and America has huge undeveloped oil reserves of its own. Why do you want other small far off countries to run their economies to your dictates? It's scary.
we will see who the president really represents, this country's

people or the oil co's. he could by executive order stop the support for saudi kingdom. no advanced weapon systems, etc. the time for jaw boning is way past, now it is time to play hard ball.
....Bush asked, they said if there is demand, they will increase. Turns out, their customers (which in the US are PRIVATE corporations) have already asked for more, and they have gotten it.

See how this works, market trade and capitalism?
The Saudis want to get rid of Bush too for Bush's screwing up Iraq.

The Saudis are starting this recession so insane warmongering republicans are voted out of office and moderate sane democrates will take control.
I heard that Bush smeared the oil all over his naked body in an attempt to entice Abdullah for a bit of ';prankish'; fun...

It didn't work, King Abdullah had his way with George and still told him no.
I guess Bush should look for a new Middle Eastern ally. Maybe they'll be more open to negotiate with Iran.
There IS plenty of oil. Have you seen any closed gas stations? Gas is high because the dollar is weak. Thank Bush for that.
It's okay, just as long as it's not appeasement!
He did this before, and they told him to f off...Thanks again BUSH
neocons don,t beg and BUSH must have known this would happen!!!!
You lost me with any connection you have poorly attemtped to make with the Saudis, the terriost of 911 and Bush trying to get more oil, with that being said my thoughts are that With India and China consuming more and more, it has been and will continue to be a supply and demand issue, and the price being set by OPEC. The problem is that most people do not understand supply and demand economics and what the structure is of the cost of gas per gallon. Do you know that we are using more oil now than EVER before! People are driving at an alarming rate. Do you realize how much petroleum’s used in making plastics and then how many things we use are made of plastics? The oil company makes about 12 cents a gallon as profit. The rest is made up of Federal and State taxes, the cost of exploration and the cost of production, Refining and then the cost of the additives that we have to put in the gas (we call it designer gas, thanks to the environmentalist wacko's). Do you know that we have not built a refinery in almost 60 years? (thanks again environmentalist). The refineries that we have are working at capacity and that is not enough to keep up with demand. Do you know that we hardly get any oil from the Middle East? Yes we are not in Iraq for oil, they have enough to export but not as much as you think. Even iran imports most of their oil. Most people think that is where it all comes from. Not true. We get our oil form Canada, Mexico, Venezuela and Africa, in that order. What we get from Saudi is a very small %. You want the cost of gas to drop....STOP driving or at the very least cut back 10% and you'll see gas prices drop. In addition to that we need to open up the ANWR for drilling and off our coasts and the Gulf, as well as exploit the new found pools in the Wyoming Range (thanks again environmentalist) OR come up with an alternate fuel. Even if you had a viable economic alternative fuel source, the production and the distribution of it is decades away. Wake up people, cut back!
