Well i'm glad to see so many people that don't understand a war did change the price of oil?

And yes your president did start a war that was wrong from the get go . And Bill my have gotten a B J in the white house but my gas was 1.25 a gal and my son's lives weren't in harms way . You can stop religous war that has gone on since Jesus was here? Oh ya when Bill left we had a surplus ! Now how many Billions are we behind ? And who will pay ?Well i'm glad to see so many people that don't understand a war did change the price of oil?
Duh...the war drove the price of oil up because the oil comes from the place of conflict. Supply and demand, when the supply goes down and the demand stays the same or increases, the price goes up.

About the deficit...Democrats pay for things with taxes which hurts the economy, Republicans pay for things with deficit spending which has proven itself in the past to jumpstart the economy. Do I approve of either? no...I believe that the government should pay as it goes always. Has President Bush screwed up in increasing gov spending? yes...I disapprove.Well i'm glad to see so many people that don't understand a war did change the price of oil?
the religious war was brought to us- what are we suppose to sit here and wait for the next attack- or do we attack them, oil prices did change- not becase the oil industry is evil but because of supply and demand- your trying to tell me that you did not hear about china buying up enormous amounts as it economy has begun to boom. try looking at the areas which make more sense before stickin one darn person the blame that it took millions of people to create.
do something about it!

or, just spout off at the mouth on your computer.
Any instability in major oil producing regions will increase the price of oil. Elementary economics. You would be taken more seriously if your question were more coherent.
Just so you know.....planning for 9-11 was ongoing during the Clinton administration. A nice surplus was there before 9-11. guess what??? That changed everything. Attacks on America did not cost America a lot of money because your boy didn't do anything except sit home and play with the help. And conflict does sometimes change the price of commodities but adjusting for inflation and seeing what Europe has been paying for gas for a least 20 years, the price today is still a bargain. Your sons life would have been in harms way if he happened to be in the Towers on 9-11 so just count your lucky stars there is someone in the White House who is dedicated to protecting you and your family.
Oh, cry me a river. Even at their highest, we *still* pay less for gas than most (if not all) other countries.

If it really *was* all about the oil, Bush would have simply opened ANWR, like the *vast* majority of Alaskans WANT.

As for the surplus....ANYONE can make a surplus on paper, Einstein.

Have a nice day and enjoy that Kool-aid.
If we think alternative source of energy than this is possible.
